Richmond House Edit

Clear spaces. Calm minds. Homes that work for you.

From career to calling
My name is Jacqui, and I’m the founder of Richmond House Edit—a professional organising and decluttering service built not just on expertise, but on lived experience, empathy, and a genuine understanding of how our homes shape the way we feel.I live in Richmond with my husband, and I’m a proud mother and grandmother. Home has always been at the centre of my life—not just as a place, but as a feeling. A sense of calm, of comfort, of everything being just that little bit easier. But I also know, first-hand, that it doesn’t always feel that way. Before starting Richmond House Edit, I spent five years working within the NHS. It was a career I was proud of—supporting others, working in high-pressure environments, and developing a deep sense of care and responsibility. But over time, I began to feel pulled in a different direction. I realised that while I loved helping people, I wanted to do so in a way that felt more aligned with who I was at home—creating calm, bringing order, and helping people feel more in control of their everyday lives. That shift led me to train with Dilly Carter of BBC's 1 TV series, Sort Your Life Out. That experience was a turning point. It didn’t just give me professional tools and techniques - it reaffirmed something I had always known, that I have a natural instinct for creating functional, beautiful spaces, and that this work has a real impact on people’s lives.Richmond House Edit was born from that moment—combining professional training with something much more personal covering Richmond, Kew, Surrey and surround areas.
